1. Purpose of the Privacy Policy
This document (hereinafter the “Privacy Policy”) describes how COPTIS, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of €40,000, whose registered office is located at 51 bis, rue de Miromesnil, 75008 Paris, registered with the Versailles Trade and Companies Register under number 423 056 589 (hereinafter the “Company” or “we”), processes the personal data of its clients and prospects, in accordance with French and European regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (known as the “GDPR”), (hereinafter the “Data Protection Regulation” or the “Regulation”).
Words or expressions beginning with a capital letter and not expressly defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning given to them in Article 4 of the GDPR.
In accordance with this article, the term “personal data” (hereinafter “Data”) refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or to one or more elements specific to their physical identity.
As part of our business, we process the Data of individuals within the meaning of the Data Protection Regulation.
If you have signed a contract with our Company, the provisions of that contract which conflict with this Privacy Policy shall prevail.

2. Information on the processing of your Data
We act as a Data Controller when we determine the purposes and means of processing personal Data.
To ensure that your Data is collected in accordance with the Regulation, the Company provides you with the following information:
Purposes and legal basis for processing: in the context of our relationships with clients and prospects, we carry out Data processing for the following purposes:

These processing activities are based on your consent, the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, or our legitimate interest in carrying out business development activities.
Types of Data processed: the Data processed for these purposes include identity and contact information of the individuals concerned (first and last name, gender, email address, phone number, job title, postal address). To improve our services, we also collect web user connection data (IP addresses, pages visited, time of visit, type of browser used, etc.).
Mandatory form fields: to respond to your request for information, account creation, or appointment, all fields marked with an asterisk or not indicated as optional must be completed, and you must check the consent box authorizing the processing of your Data. Otherwise, we will be unable to respond to your request.
Data recipients: the Data is intended for the departments within our Company.
Transfer of Data to a third country: as part of our operations, we may transfer your Data to our subsidiaries located in Singapore and the United States, countries that do not benefit from an adequacy decision by the European Commission. By providing us with your Data, you expressly agree to this transfer and acknowledge the risks associated with the lack of legal guarantees equivalent to those under European law. Data retention period: the retention period of personal Data varies depending on the purpose of the processing. We retain your Data only for as long as necessary and appropriate for the purpose for which it was collected.

Please note that the provision of your Data is not a condition for entering into a contract with our Company. However, certain responses in our forms are mandatory and marked with an asterisk. Failure to provide such information may prevent us from offering you information, commercial offers, or product and service demonstrations.
3. Cookie Management
If you leave a comment on our site, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to re-enter this information if you leave another comment later. These cookies will last for one year.

6. Language
You may access the Privacy Policy in French and, for convenience, its English translation. In the event of a discrepancy between the French version and any other language version, the French version shall prevail.
